Commencement of Administrative Review Tribunal (ART) to replace the Administrative Appeals Tribunal (AAT) from 14 October 2024
We anticipate your AAT applications will be processed more efficiently and hopefully faster once the ART commences its operation.
The ART will have more resources to deal with matters and implement methods to move the applications more efficiently. Furthermore, there will be its own review process in place if there has been an error in its decisions.
What should you do if you have a pending application with the AAT?
Nothing– you do not need to do anything as all existing applications will be transferred to the ART automatically.
